750ml bottle. Tart, funky and oaky with some sourness, mineraly and vinegary notes, spices and yeastiness, hints of floral notes. Okay, quite tart and funky.

Bottle. Master of Malt. Soft haze on a pale yellow gold. Super sturdy, dense, lasting, bright white head. Nose has clean and sharp, lemony brett. Sawn wood. Box fresh Draper’s. Plenty of bright flora and aromatic herb. Taste is sharp and tart, with a creamy sweetness, and some punchy, fruity and herbal bitterness. Clean and refreshingly sharp on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Tart and refreshing finish. Lovely stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Cloudy pastel yellow with lace. Tutti-fruiti nose, rich tropical fruit, juicy and nice. Crisp, dry, tart flavor, fruity and balanced. Great.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma of floral, chamomile, lemon, lime. Flavor is light tart, huge floral notes, lovely as shit. Lime undertones. Light body, soft mouthfeel. Really excellent.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is really nice and floral forward with quite a bit of chamomile as well as some lighter rose hip and coriander. Floral character adds a nice herbal character to the beer which I find most Rare Barrel beers to be missing. Some light citrus and tropical fruit notes with hints of oak. Pours a hazy, bright orange color with slight, pinkish hues and a small, thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma and has nice chamomile and rose hip notes with a bit more coriander than in the aroma. Light herbal notes. Medium acidity with light sharpness. Some light tropical fruit and medium light citrus with hints of oak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer. The floral notes add the herbal funk that I find Rare Barrel beers are lacking. The acidity is not too sharp and is fairly well balanced.
