The newly christened Grisette is the first of its kind to emerge at Hafis, earning the esteemed title of our very first beer fermented entirely in oak (aka The Foeder Pyramid™). It's a low ABV, refreshing sipper dry-hopped with French Strisselspalt hops (a variety that's as fun to say as it is delicious). 500ml bottle. Minimally milky, pale yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Mildly bretty, funky, yeasty and mildly woody aorma, wheaty malty background, notes of Hubba Bubba bubblegum, funk, some mustard seed, a touch of hay, oak, old lemon peel, herbal spiciness, vinous fruitiness, weak, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is mildly bretty, yeasty funky, slightly grassy hoppy and wheaty malty, minimally tannic woody, minimally diluted hints of Hubba Bubba bubblegum, mild funk, some oak, weak herbal spiciness, a touch of old lemon peel, white grapes.
Minimally oily, watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Grassy wheat aroma, soft, slightly spicy cereals. mouth feel is bright, and crisp, carb is lively. Finish is very low on the bitterness, light notes of funk, and lots of grass in the end with some soft wheat. immensely drinkable, and refreshing .

Bellwoods Foeder Fermented Grisette 3.6% Very pale straw gold with big bubbly eggshell white foam. The aroma is tangy funky wheat with oak notes. The taste is similar tangy slightly sour saison with sweet tart Sorachi ass like notes with tannic oak in the finish. Medium to light bodied and very smooth. I thought this was 5%, they packed loads of flavor into 3.6%. It feels very Belgian.

Poured from 500mL bottle (pkg Aug 23, 2019; abv listed as 3%). Clear blonde with white head. Balanced brett and saison yeast, light and simple. A very nice table beer, even with the age, in fact, the age may have actually helped this. Quite enjoyable at such a low abv.

50cl bottle pours a murky yellow with some white head. Good nose, funk right out of the gate, lemon, grist, sweet tarts. Flavor has those sweet tarts, grist, funk, yeast. Full bodied, tart and funky finish. 8 4 8 5 15

500 ml bottle, thanks to solidfunk. Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was pleasant floral notes, light yeast. Crisp, easy to drink. Really solid. Light, delicate funky finish.

From a 500 ml bottle courtesy of solidfunk. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Aromas are light floral and yeasty. Flavors are crisp, smooth and tasty.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur jaune paille voilée, mousse blanche. Arôme de levure, houblon herbacé, mentholé, pointe fermière. Goût de levure, céréales, amertume moyenne, poivré, houblon herbacé. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen-faible.

Pale, slight bit of haze. There’s no head. Light brett notes, wheaty, a light spiciness. I like the light body, and the juicy wheat notes. Light citrus notes – oranges, tangerines in particular. Refreshing.
