Bottle shared at Garvie’s. Pours clear yellow with a large, billowing white froth head. The nose has lots of doughy wheat, floral notes, some candi sugars. Medium sweet flavor with some further doughy bread, pale wheat, a hit of saison yeast, white grape. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more doughy wheat bread, faint bitter hay, yeast. Tasty saison.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a generous fluffy head. Nose - white pepper and green herbs. Some tangy citrus in the background. Taste - pineapple and white pepper so straight saison. Not sure what am supposed to get re the hemp seeds. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yep good saison. Complex yet refreshing.

Cask at Bow Bar. It pours Orange-amber with a decent white head. The nose is orange sponge cake, toasted grain, light spice, citrus, floral and marmalade. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, muffin, grassy, herbal with a dry, somewhat spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting and rather enjoyable stuff.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Hazy amber body with a thick white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of candy, wood, dusty yeast and pineapple. Flavour is initially sweet fruits then there’s a big citrus and tangy yeast finish. Medium body with an oily texture. An unusual, tasty beer. I’d like to try it on keg.
