Farmhouse Lager is a lighter version of our long-time brew, Avant Garde. It is our first foray into the 12oz bottle/six-pack world, as we have been mostly known for large format (750ml bottles). Still beginning with an initial malt sweetness and a subtle hop presence, this lager finishes smooth and crisp. Perfect for an evening out on your porch or with some fresh baked bread pulled straight from the oven. (aka Farmhouse Rustic Lager)

Bottle. Lightly hazy golden body. Frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, citrus, light barnyard, herbal hops. Moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery/sticky texture. Mineral and herbs with some light funkiness. Comfortable lingering bitterness. Could be crisper.

Golden with a white head - Malt and citrus hop aroma - Malt body with a good citrus hop flavour with hints of herbal flavour with nice bitterness - The hop goes to the finish with nice blalanced bitterness - This was good

Straightforward and easy, drinkable if not inventive, with a honey-laced malt sweetness shored up by crisp floral hop notes and a yeast farmhouse finish. Malts lean too sugary, but the lemon-apple lager undertones add complexity, and the bright, effervescent carbonation keeps the sweet side from growing cloy. Not a favorite, but easy to put back a bottle.

Bottle. Clear orange, medium head. Slightly spicy hops nose, bread, some citrus. Somewhat American pa like. Lemony hops, bready malts, quite fruity. Crisp, light, rather estery. Very American. Decent but not like the real thing. Rather sweet too.

355ml bottle, thanks Tim. Nice shining golden, some white foam on the top. Sweetish malty nose, honey notes and light noble hops. Smooth mouthfeel, some bitterness, super refreshing and flavorful. Probably one of the most enjoyable samples of the style, liking this.

Golden color. Lots of hay, grassy, a touch of lemon and slightly funky nose. Crisp, but slightly heavier body than a real kellerbier, lots of hay, a bit maltier/heavier than expected but very pleasant. Low medium bitterness. A bit new world but generally in the right direction

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Stas. Clear golden. Malt, grains, a bit of caramel, a bit of honey, a bit stale, sweetish, bitterish finish.

12 oz. bottle shared by TJ. Flavor shows bread base, floral hops and a mild pepper hint. Nicely balanced and a simple lager that has a lot of flavor. Easy to drink.
