2020 vintage (13.4% ABV) can shared at Zozo's. Huge, boozy chocolate bomb, showcasing caramel, molasses, intense, lovely coffee, roasted malts, dried fruits and even a touch of smoke here and there. Closes with a long lasting, sweet and sticky finish, has a full, thick body and soft carbonation. Great.

2021 14%. Black and oily with decent head that fades after a while. The aroma is of milk chocolate and roasted peanuts which are surprisingly not part of the pastrification of this stout. It's roasted and has a solid bitterness. Really nutty. Rich. Boozy. Silky.

Sample (from omhper, 2020 vintage). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild toffee and a huge lot of espresso coffee. Flavour is espresso, toffee, liqourice, some alcohol, toffee and mild dried fruity elements and melasses. Delicate flavour. Strong AF, but still highly drinkable.

Bottle, 2019 version, 15.4%. Color: Black, very thin light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, molassses (sugary), coffee., vanilla Taste: Roasted malt, dry-ish and very bitter, sweetish molasses, boozy, bit burning mouthfeel, notes of coffee, slightly sour coffee beans and vanilla. Subtle oak wood. Dry, bittery, roasted malt and coffee bean finish. Full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, over moderate going to over medium bitterness, starting a bit more sweet and finishing more bitter. Based on the ingredients I was expected more sweetness, but luckily it;s not. I like the dry bitterness and coffeebeans, Very nice and very strong one.

44 cl can vintage 2020 (13,4%) @ Euphemos. Canned 11/2020. Aroma has sweet vanilla tones and chocolate. Flavour has syrupy tones, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and non-disturbing alcohol. Good slow sipper with not-that-high drinkability. I'm a sucker for anything vanilla. Rated on 2021-03-08.
