On tap at Dauth-Schneider, pours a clear golden with a few bubbles worth of head. Nose has lots of tart apple core, acidity, and tannins. Flavour is dry and musty, with a nice buggy character, musty apple skins, tartness, moderate acidity, and finishing tannic and dry. Flat carb. Very nice.

Draught from Dauth-Schneider, Frankfurt. Golden colour, no head and aroma of fruity apple. Taste is apple, fruity, some core and skin, with some tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite drinkable

Tap at the restaurant in Sachsenhausen. Nose is dry, tart apples, skin. Tart and rather drt flavor, almost puckery. Oily, rather light body. Decent but quite average.

At the cidery in Frankfurt. Pours pale gold with no head. Aroma is semi-sweet apple with a hint of honey. Toward medium sweetness, light sour. Light body, slight sticky texture, soft to flat carbonation. Finish is quite dry, with lasting moderate apple sour.

Clear pale golden colour with no head. Aroma and flavour have natural apple and woody dryness. No carbonation.

In der Apfelweinwirtschaft Dauth-Schneider in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen. - Sattes Goldgelb, klar. - Nase sehr herb fruchtig mit „alten“ Äpfeln (nicht das süße Gewächs aus dem Supermarkt). - Schmeckt sehr herb-säuerlich aber noch fruchtig; die kellerig-muffigen Noten sind nicht so stark ausgeprägt wie bei der Konkurrenz in der Buchscheer. - Gut herb-säuerlicher aber dabei noch apfelfruchtiger, süffiger Apfelwein. Angenehm.

05.01.16 // at the pub in Frankfurt. Clear golden coloured. Typical nose of fresh apples. Taste is of course apples, light to medium sour, fresh. Refreshing and smooth. Average.

Milder Apfelantrunk, der dafür aber nicht so trocken ist. Im Mittelteil sinkt die Fruchtigkeit bereits, bleibt aber noch auf angenehmem Level. Spritzig, zum Ende leider wässrig werdend. Süffig, erfrischend. 8/9/10/10//10

Sourish tart beginning. Very sourish dry apples with a very tart fruity sour body. Fruity-sourish apples, fresh and sour. Dry appley fruity sour aftertaste with a full body and a refreshing sour aftertaste. Interesting but nice.
