Easy going. But low on the excitement. Fruity, dry. Nice.

21.08.2019, tap @ Crafthouse Kyoto:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy yellow-ish color. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, leafs, lawn, hay, moss, bark, light malts, dusty hops, pine needles, flowers, fruit stones, hints of citrus peel. Taste is slightly dry grassy, leafs, bark, flowers, hay, lawn, light malts, fruit stones, dusty hops, pine needles, hints of harsh citrus peel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle @ Shinshu Osake Mura. Pours straw yellow, hazy but difficult to get some foam on top. Nose is light, herbal and citrusy, hints of some hop character. Tastes light, surprisingly dry, no sweetness there at all. Tastes light citrus, relatively herbal bitterness, thirst-quenching for sure, low abv makes it superbly drinkable. Had also a second bottle.

Shiga Kogen Kasumi NE Pale Ale 4.5% Milky honey gold with a dense head of white foam that lingers. It has a great hop bouquet featuring woodsy (brambles/sticks) and apricot stone fruit. The taste is fairly bitter resinous for just 19 IBU but it is a smooth well done hazy brew, cheers Shiga Kogen this is an example of why they’re widely regarded as one of the top craft breweries in Japan. I’m glad I was able to find this on tap by chance today, nice one Bungalow! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Keyaki, Spring 2018. Huge haze. Mildly fruity nose, dry tropical, grapefruit. Dry, light flavor, interesting fruit but the session strength makes it hard to come together. Light, a bit watery. Not bad though.
