330ml can. Pretty much as per the description here so fine if you like big dose of bitter with your stout. Too much for me.

Draft at Project Social on 3rd September 2025. 8oz pour into a bulbous glass just after Happy Hour (really should check the times of these things). Black bodied, tanned wisp and collar. Coffee, dark fruits and malty nose and taste, well roasted/toasted maltiness throughout. Good body depth and pleased I came across the beer while in California.

Single from Appalachian ($3.30). Side by side with the NA version, ...which was horrible. 8/26/24 canning.
Dark brown on black, tall & lingering cocoa head.
Nose is all cocoa & dark fruit, slightly sharp.
Taste is dense cocoa, medium roast coffee, burnt berries, bittersweet belly, thin & slightly sweet endtrails. Lovely beer.
Frothy, sharp, slick, just roasty enough, easy for 8%, ends mostly dry & wanting.
So great, relatively cheap & easy.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Roasted malt aroma hints at baker’s chocolate and dark roast coffee. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of dark chocolate, espresso and charred wood. Medium bodied, but intensely flavorful. Dry, bitter finish has a hint of smokiness.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a lofty tan head that foamed and did other things. Aroma of burnt malt, coffee, chocolate and more. Approaching full body. Almost dry and definitely bitter. Flavor matches the aroma. Amazing flavor.

4 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at We’re Pouring. Opaque black w/nitro ring w/great persistence, tons of lacing. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, toffee, peat/wood. Taste is amped up version of aroma. Creamy texture, soft carbonation & finish as taste. Great.

Can from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is roasted malt with dark chocolate, coffee, mocha. More roast and chocolate. Flavour is moderate bitter and sweet with a relatively dry roasty finish. Body is above medium. A lovely fundamentally bare-bones Stout, such a welcome change of scenery in the pastry era.

4oz pour at brewery. Pours opaque brown with beige head. Aroma has roasted malts. Flavour is fairly similar, a lot of roasted malts. Maybe I'm too drunk to enjoy this, but I was expecting a bit more.
