A rich body and an assertive roasted flavor make our Smoked Porter a natural cool-weather beer. A layered but balanced smokiness accentuates the black coffee, bitter chocolate, and deeply toasted character, as if you had roasted coffee beans over a wood fire. The thick, velvety body helps soften the attack, providing a fullness that awakens sweeter malt characteristics, and sets the stage for the earthy British hops and smoke character to wrap things up.

Lots of smoke and not a lot pf character. Pretty dry. Black pour with good head and lacing. Snappy but light bitter end. Tap at barhop. Godspeed continues to disappoint.

Can shared by Davido, cheers! Ruby brown with a smoky chocolate aroma. Medium to full bodied with a great smoked chocolate flavor. Nailed it: This was the unanimous favorite of the three cans tried in Kyoto.

Can from the brewery. 5.5%. Lightly smoky nose, rich chocolate, ham. Cloudy black. Light, smoky chocolate flavor is very nice. rich but delicate. Prickly hop finish. I could drink a lot of this, which is something I rarely feel about a black beer.

Can, thanks Davido. Dark brown pour, some light brown foam on top. Roasted coffee nose, roast malts, light smoky bacon. Getting some coconut as well, which is interesting. Taste is toasty and roasty, bit of smoked bacon thrown in. Super light and flavorful, in one word: elegant. Aftertaste is lingering roasty, burnt bread staying on your tongue for ages after the beer is long gone.
