We went all out with one of our favourite hops on this one! The taste and aroma are all typical Amarillo; tropical fruit, citrus & resinous. We aimed for a little more of a bitter/dry finish on this one and it gave the beer an amazing balance.

473 ml can. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of tropical fruit, mashed stoned fruit, dull pineapple, and toasted malt. Flavors follow same with dull piney notes. Nice even though a bit aged.

Can from Fuijlin. Great nose, mostly citrus: grapefruit, orange, also passion fruit and some mango. Cloudy orange gold with some reddish tints and a low, lacey head. Sweet biscuits and fruit, tropical, grapefruit, orange. Super juicy. Quite resinous too. Peppery, bitter finish. Smooth, full. Good stuff, possibly a bit old and the finish is a bit too raunchy.

473mL can, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out rich resinous hops, some pine and sweet caramel. Flavour is wonderfully hoppy, with loads of resinous hop oils, some pine, tropical fruits (guava) and moderately sweet caramel malt. Great balance between the resinous hop oiliness, which coats the palate, and the sweeter malt elements. Excellent.

2017-09-16. Tall can from the brewery (thx, Alex!). Canned on 2017-09-06. Pours a murky golden with a huge white head. Aroma is funky, with tropical fruits and some strange car exhaust notes. Taste is quite similar, yeasty, with moderate sweetness. Sweet and bitter aftertaste with some boozy notes. Not bad, but too boozy. Not their best definitely.

2017-09-30. Taster at the brewery. It is much more tropical fruity now. And the body became richer. It is much better now definitely.

Cloudy, dullish tan colour, with a big head. Big weedy, orangey hop note. Carries some alcoholic strength, along with a lot of bright hops, again dank and citrusy stuff. Just a touch yeasty. The booziness pushes the envelope, but I don’t mind it, as it reminds me I’m drinking a potent ale. Solid.

This can is 2 months old, always stored in my fridge, and it already shows some stale signs. The shelf life of this beer was very short.

Still has an abrasive hop force.

Cloudy golden-orange color with generous head. A blast of resiny hops, citrus peel, traces of tropical fruits, cedar, and light dank in the final. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, quite sweet, but wonderfully balanced by the bitterness; the hop is just pure quality: resinous, tropical, pungent. This seems at its peak right now.
A new top beer for Twin Sails.

Cloudy golden color. Wonderful aroma, it's fruity, it's pungent, it's mildly dank. Lean malt base, crackery, moderately sweet, with a good blend of juice and piney hops, more bitter than the usual NE IPA.
Wonderful.

Draft - Weedy dank notes with citrus peel. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Dank and citrusy with some sweetness and a touch of dryness. Nice.
