An IPA, of course. We’re blending our two approaches to the IPA in this East Meets West IPA. Sierra Nevada’s malt body and profile was blended with the heavy-handed, very late hopping schedule employed by Tree House to create a new, hybrid IPA. Lightly bitter and heavy with citrus-like hop flavor.

Tap at gingerman I still have never had a straight up Treehouse brew and this seems more Sierra Nevada to me. Fine pour deep dirty gold. Nose is pine resin and veg. Tastes of green onion, pine oil, slight weed, hint of citrus. Decent straight up ipa

Just a great IPA all the way around. Aroma’s very fragrant with fresh hops and malt. Flavor’s like nose, juicy and extremely drinkable. Yum!

The all-star of the Beer Camp twelver. Lovely Sierra Nevada caramel and biscuit malts mixed up with a trendy hazed NEIPA juicy hop bomb, resulting in a beer both sweet and intensely bitter, a fairly hefty IPA still quaffable as all hell. Fresh lemon-orange mixes with dank herb and resinous pine to form a well-rounded hop profile, while the malts add an indulgent backbone to keep you coming back amid the final flourish of righteous IBUs. Big dank-citrus nose promises an intensely hop-forward brew, while the stunning pour is the stuff of legend: slightly hazed yellow-gold with a neverending head and lacing for days. Creamy, oily texture goes down way too quickly. Lovely beer.

Cane from Beer Camp case. Pour is fairly normal, mild haze, big fluffy head that fades to skin. Fruity, citrus bitter aroma. Taste reflects the soft bitterness, green jujubes, soap, floral notes. East Meets West reflects more of a NW APA, bitter, tasty, drinkable.

16oz can. Filtered looking body, which seems odd for the style. Steady white head. Has that bold West Coast feel, more so than a soft dryhop feel. Juicy citrus tones. The can is two months old and holds up well, I’d imagine this was stellar the week it was canned. Really just tastes like a good modern West Coast IPA more than a New England one. Solid. Juicy peach-mango tones in the finish.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a really nice pine and fruity hop. I’m thinking fresh melon and grapefruit. Flavor is equally as nice. I get more melon and citrus along with a soft wheat malt body and maybe a bit of strawberry at the end. Nicely hopped with juicy fruit hops and no bitterness what so ever.

Sampled from the tap at Republic 7C. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has combines grass and citrus with some sweet grains underlying. Flavor has citrus and sweet grains throughout with some grass underlying.
