This beer is traditionally fruity in the aroma and the flavour until we cranked it up a notch with the addition of papaya. The result, earthy yeast tones, mild tartness and a hint of tropical fruit. This semi-dry, crisp brew is ideal for summer. Pairs well with funky cheeses and charcuterie.

It is an easy IPA, I was expecting something more fruity and it is more a kind of session IPA, watery, dry, citrus, hoppy not strong aroma, 07.12.2017, drinking it at the Pibar, Lausanne.

Bottle from the lcbo. Clear yellow pour, with a big fluffy white head. Nice wheat Aroma with lots of tropical fruit, some lemon zest and citrus. Subtle tartness, can’t say I’m getting papaya in specific but there are lots or tropical fruit esters. The finish is semi sweet with a light bitterness. Very refreshing and incredibly drinkable on a hot day.

Can de 50cl.

Can, 10C. Hazy gold, modest white head. Aroma of nectarines, mildly funky wheaty dough, tropical fruit (the addition of actual fruit is not obvious), bitter orange peel, white pepper, cloves. Medium bodied, carbonation is on the high side of moderate - a little high would have been OK too. Sweet, funky, bitter with a dry finish. Fruity and a bit grainy with nectarines and citrus being as prominent than tropical fruit. Dry at the end. Right up my street.

A golden and hazy beer. A head is big and blond. Aroma has citrusfruits, some sweeter fruitness, also low spicyness and tartness. Taste has citrusfruits, papayias, tartness. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Refreshning and balanced.
