This beer is traditionally fruity in the aroma and the flavour until we cranked it up a notch with the addition of papaya. The result, earthy yeast tones, mild tartness and a hint of tropical fruit. This semi-dry, crisp brew is ideal for summer. Pairs well with funky cheeses and charcuterie.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet, fruity aroma of tropical fruit, lemon, wheat malt and yeast. Sweet, fruity flavour of tropical fruit, lemon, spice, wheat malt, yeast and light funk with a dry, bitter, hoppy, slightly tart finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice.

Draft at e11even in Toronto with S. Clear golden pour with minimal head. Aroma is a little bit of papaya with banana and spice. Taste is mostly light crisp saison with dry white bitterness on the finish. Not bad but nothing special.

Tap at the brewery. Collective Project 3 Papaya Saison 6% Clear gold with a wheat saison and mild fruit aroma. Definitely more saison than papaya with lots of spice, wheat and some funk while the papaya mostly comes through in the aftertaste.

Part of their Seasonal Variety Pack. Pours a hazy golden colour with an amber hue, white foamy head, decent stay and some mild lacing. Very nice Saison aromas with the fresh hops blended with the Belgian Ale yeast. The papaya are quite mild in the mix. Even in the taste, very, very light. The rest though, a very nice Saison.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity pineapple malt with resinous floral hops, cloves, fruity esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity banana malt with cloves, curacao, resinous and piney hops, light mineral notes, light Brett, very nice.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pale gold with just the slightest haze, under a small short lived fluffy white head. Nose is wheat with lots of tropical fruit . lemon and pepper. Flavour is moderately tart fruit in the front which settles bringing the spice to the fore and then fading into a lightly bitter finish. Mouth is medium- with prickly carbonation. Refreshing. 7+/4-/8/3+/15
