We are fortunate to brew beer in a truly peaceful place. Occasionally, on this old hop farm, tucked into a secluded valley near the source of the Susquehanna, one can find real tranquility, when the noise and cares of the world seem to fall away.
Nirvana IPA is made for those moments. Seven different hop varietals deliver an exalted array of piney aromas and juicy flavors, balanced by a gentle snap of bitterness on the long, dry finish.
May each sip offer a window to a better state of mind.

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. They served this really damn cold. Got tired of waiting for it to warm up. Aroma shows me
Wheat base with notes of hay, light citrus with light grassy and onion finish. I taste Equinox hops!! You don’t have to say it but I’m about 95% sure. Yeast is very subtle and may have shown itself if this brew wasn’t served at 10 below zero. Medium body with a dry texture.

Cityfresh, Bushwick growler: Pours orange with white head. Aroma is light citrus, flowers, and a good bit of spice. Taste is a low bitterness IPA. Spiciness and fruity notes are what are the focus here. Nice aftertaste. Easy to drink. An exemplar of the new wave of the style that is moving away from needless brutality.

12 ounce bottle. Small Rocky white head. Perfumy tropical malt and pine hop nose. Dryish citrusy pine hops up front. Nice peppery bitterness. Soft tropical fruit palate with yeasty undertones. Nice balance and flavor. A tasty IPA.

Draught @ Beer Authority. Hazy rich yellow with large creamy white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, well-balanced lightly hoppy taste, medium finish. Nice, session type IPA.
