Not everything in your life has to be in a damn hurry.

Try our northern German-inspired Pils. It is strikingly pale, crisp and bitter. It is softly malty, aromatic and crushable. Really, this beer is the reason we brew anything. We take 30 hours to make this on the brew day, and then we lager it until anyone with any normal sense of perspective would say "enough already."

If you're at the bar and it takes a little longer than normal, go with it. It's called Slow Pour for a reason. If it gets to you without the head above the rim of the glass, then we will have failed you.

Pint can. Pours a crystal clear yellow gold color with a big sudsy white head with fair retention and lacing. The aroma features spicy noble hops and some grains. The taste mirrors the aroma--a big noble hop presence with some mixed grains. Bitterness is moderate. The palate is clean and crisp. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Damn Fine pilsener

Awfully difficult to do a slow pour from a can, but still such a great beer. Floral, light grains of paradise, low dough malt. Smooth, bright effervescence, crisp finish

Draft at brewery. Amazing poking with gold pour and a whip cream head. Nose is zesty spice and crisp bread crust. Tatses the same. Peppery, sourdough, lemon, grassy. Crips palate. Pretty perfect pils

16 oz. can from Molly's Spirits in Lakeside, CO. Pours a crystal clear straw yellow color with a giant white head and great retention. Lots of spots of lacing. Fine streaming bubbles. Standard lager aroma with light sulfur notes. Bright pilsner malt flavor with a semi-sharp bite and soft floral bitterness. No sulfur flavors. Clean and crisp. Good example of the style, but not a winter beer. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Medium-light bitterness.

Flute at Shelter pours a clear gold with some lacey white head. Nose is soft if not a little underwhelming, grist, grass. Flavor is better and very authentic, grist, grass, grain, honey, some nuts. Watery finish with a little bite.
