Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy molasse aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some caramel. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. A hazy, reddish dark brown beer with a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. The aroma is at first sickening wort-like, but then there’s roasted malts, some coffee, a touch of dried fruits and some hoppy scents. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and with a soft, low leveled carbonation. The flavor has some roasted malt and hoppy kind of bitterness, with a wort-like touch and some coffee and prunes. Lasting finish. A rather messy and not very pleasant one, couldn’t bring myself to piss off my liver by finishing the bottle. 150128

Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain, hint of yeast, dried fruits, spices and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, yeasty and a hint of spices in the finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral, wet grain, caramel, hints of spices and dried fruits. Taste is slightly sweet grainy, caramel, wet grain, grass, chocolate, hints of spices and dried fruits. Little bitterness, watery mouthfeel. So boring!

500 ml bottle. Good looking, clear amber body with a big off-white head. Almost no aroma at all, light malty and just a hint of fruit with my best imagination. Flavor is sweet malt, just a hint of caramel and fruit, almost no bitterness. Medium body and not much aftertaste. This was a big disappointment for me as a enjoyed the previous spicy and richer malt version. No technical faults, but this beer really misses some depth and nuances in flavor. This is like any other boring macro brewery Christmas beer for the grocery marked minus the annoying caramel essence. No Christmas spirit for me this time.

Bringebæraroma m fenoler og masse DMS. Spinkelt anslag med tørr, syrlig-snerpende munnfølelse. Ok bitter ettersmak som dog ikke dekker over.
