Confession is a true collaborative effort between the wine and beer world. A variation of our sour blonde ale, brewed in part by the Parker team, Confession was blended and fermented with juice pressed from Parker's Riesling grapes. The result is remarkable. Not quite beer, not quite wine. Fragrant fruit flavors warm the nose, infiltrated by a slight funk from the wild yeast. The first sip is reminiscent of a dry, white wine, but everything changes upon further examination as the flavors marinate and reveal themselves with each gulp.

Ufo. Pachnie plastikiem. Nie winogronami. Poszlo w kosmiczna strone. Nie wiem nawet, czy mi smaczy. W uscie juz trafycyjniej i jakby o dziwo dosc cieliscie? Ufo. Przedziwne. W sumie dobre...

Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Cloudy pale blond color. The aroma is a bit fruity, grapes, some plastic too; sour. Nice sour flavor, it reminds me of a cider, not much depth or complexity though. Gentle alcohol warmth.
Good beer.

Slight haze. Touch of pale. No head. There's some brett and barrel on the nose, but also a bit of toastiness. On the palate, the grapes are big. Vinous. Tart, barrel, and complex.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grape must, wine barrels, and wild yeast. Flavour is loaded with wild yeast and tons of Riesling grapes. Nicely funky, with a shit ton of white wine grapes. Wonderful Riesling character to it. Excellent.

Pretty good stuff. Aroma is fresh yeasty tart fruit and a little caramel malt. Flavor is mainly tart some fruit yeast a lot like nose along crisp finish reminds me a little bit of Brut sparkling wine.

750 ml bottle, Thanks Adam! Color on a slow canted pour, thin head. Aroma is major white grape, Riesling German grapes with a mild oak character. mild slightly yeast.

The Flavor is huge white wine, massive oak, just the lightest notes of yeast. This is almost completely a white wine based brew. White wine is so forward that I am confused that this is brew.

Sample at Aficionado’s during the "Big Bad Bottle Share" on 02/10/2017. Hazy straw color with a medium frothy white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of oak, white grape and yeast. Medium to full body with flavors of mildly tart and funky grape, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is mildly funky grape and citrus. Pretty good overall.

Bottle pour at Shelton Brothers. Clean nose with some funk and muscat leading the way. A bit of oak and buttery notes, but still quite tannic. Pear, apple, muscat and light peach notes as it warms. Not a trace of booze. Very white wine like. Elegant.
