Black in colour. No light penetrates this one. Cloudy, with a beige head. Aroma of apple, (roasted) malts, herbal, slight coffee. Touches of Brett? Flavour has the same notes. Apple on the foreground, bit sour apples. Might it be that a slight Brett infection is present in this bottle? Still an enjoyable beer though.

[Trade by fonefan] Pours almost pitch black with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of coffee, licorice, leather and floral hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a dry salty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is lively.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of KimJohansen and Papsoe. A hazy, mahogany beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head. The aroma has some myrica-like notes, guess it’s at least something similar to that. There’s some roasted malts too. The flavor has a good dash of coffee, with the same herbal thing found in the aroma. Full-bodied and quite effervescent, a good bitterness finishes the whole thing. Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Roasted. Moderate bitter roasted not well-balanced flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. Not a very god porter.

Dark ruby brown color, good creamy beige head. A bit sour, caramelly-grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. A bit sour with some vegetables, coffee and caramel. A bit chocolaty too. I suppose that sourness is not intended here.
