Bottle in Forbes, NSW. Clear golden colour with a white head. Light spice sweet, and wheat, some yeast. Light crisp bitter.

(Bottle) Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Pleasant aroma of bread, bananas, notes of citrus and spices, particularly cloves. Good mouthfeel. Medium body with mouth filling carbonation. Good taste. Pleasant fruity, tart and banana, start. Quickly followed by peppery spice, which builds to give a pleasant peppery bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Can. Misty pale complexion, medium white head. Not the most vibrant witbier around... Gentle floral aromatics, mild floral yeast character overall, soft carbonation. Ok.

Tap. Loads of yuzu, almost overpowering. Bit of wheat lingering there. Sweet and not overly exciting. Touch of ice cream.

7/3/2014 On tap at Tadg’s, surprised to find I never transferred this note over to RB. A slightly cloudy gold with a filmy white head. A delicious fruity spicy wheat aroma. Medium bodied with a soft body and a tasty spicy clove flavor. ---judging from the ratings I’d say the 2014 & 2015 recipes have changed quite a bit.

Tap at Beer Fes Osaka 2015. I learned that this is brewed with a wild yeast strain. Fruity, citrus nose, a bit of tart acidity. Cloudy, bright gold. Tons of citrus flavor (yuzu peel), crisp, crackery wheat. Good.

On tap at Popeye. Served in a weissbier vase. Beautiful soapy head. Strong fruity aroma: banana, peach and a touch of citrus. Intense spice present when drinking: coriander, all spice, fennel.
