330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Smoky, minimally peaty, roasty dark malty aroma, hints of smoked ham, Mettwurst, some dark chocolate in the background gains influence with time, coffee as well. Taste is smoky, roasty dark malty, notes of smoked ham, hints of Mettwurst, underlying notes of dark chocolate, caramel, a touch of molasses and tar, coffee. Intense, focused - very nice.

16.02.2015, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, hay, roasted grain, minerals, burnt caramel, weeds, grass, burnt coffee, rye bread. Taste is slightly harsh roasted, minerals, burnt grain, sour coffee, rye bread, burnt caramel, ashtray, unripe banana, bark, weeds, grass. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 09.04.18. Almost ebony. Small brown head. Fine aroma and taste of creosote, bonfire and dark malt. Still quite dry and refreshing. Rather good!

Aus der Flasche im 2016-08 getrunken. Ein wunderbares Weizenstout. Fette Kaffee- und Schokonoten dazu schön cremig und ausgewogen mit toller Getreidenote.
