Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. 4 months after BBE date expired. Yellow coloured, small airy white head that went away fast, dry grainy nose. Malty, slight grainy and watery with bitterish finish. Simple and (below) average lager.

Foam has a relatively long time in the beer color, odor low to hop! The taste is very mild, slightly sweet, acidic taste. Clear that the old Fritz drank the like, but the selection was rather limited time!

Golden colour with a thin head. Herbal hops and bready malts. Moderate bitterness. Hop extract taste - vague grass and herbals. Decent malt background and respectably dry finish. A touch thin, as per style. For a regular Berlin swill, I like it.

Bottle looks almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass okay. Starts mild, but dry, very metallically, chemical, sourish, unbalanced... Not easy to drink and not a good beer!

bottle shared with Tomaz. clear golden, white. aroma and flavors, grassy hops, mild citrus, lingering metallic nose and mouthfeel bordering the soapy finish and pale malts? boring.

On draught. Looked superb with a billboard head that lasted. Unfortunately let down by the taste which is too bitter, almost sour.

06/03 Draught at Zum Nussbaum, Berlin, as Potsdamer Rex Pils. Beer had clear pale golden body with medium sized head. Fine flowery aroma, sweetish, slightly acidic. Bitterish flavor, some typical industrial German pils cardboard, some honey malt in the background. Medium body, watery texture. Finish was medium, sweetish honey and bit of herb-cardboard hops. It’s completely OK for me, a bit lower quality German pils.

Draught at Zum Nussbaum, Berlin. Poured a pale golden colour, medium white head. Honeyish and vegetabley nose. Very light sweetish taste, honey and some vegetabley hop again, light bitter aftertaste. Emm, no.
