Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, wheat malt, grass, straw and hops.

Tap at (didn’t take note of the name of this bar as the brewery tap for Unertl that we had headed for was shut!) a bar/restaurant on the main street in the altstadt, Muhldorf - 14/07/12. Cloudy yellow amber with a good finger + of white head. Malts and wheat on the nose with citrus fruit in the background and a pinch of spice - weak aroma. Wheat, banana and clove came through in the taste. A little watery for a weizen of 5%+ but drinkable.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average frothy white head. Wheat malt aroma with an unspecific fruity touch. Slightly spicy wheaty taste, underlying decent sweetness, a citrus overtone, prickling carbonation works against an otherwise creamy palate. Solid Hefeweizen.

Bottle courtesy of Tarjei. Unclear orange body with a nice, creamy white head. Aroma has banana, citrus, wheat and bubblegum. Flavor is quite typical wheat beer, banana, fruity yeast and citric fruit, quite sweet. Medium body. Nothing extraordinary, but a enjoyable wheat beer.

In bottle @ Holiday Inn (central Munich). Pours cloudy golden with a perfect head and gentle carbonation. The nose has overripe bananas and cream. The taste is of vanilla and banana custard. The palate is medium to full bodied with a lovely creamy texture and an elegant finish. Overall, a great weizen.

On tap somewhere near Chiemsee. Yellow color with tall head. Sweet aroma with banana touch, some gloves. Taste, fresh, orange, banana nice sweet finish. Nice beer.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, wheat malt and light clove aroma - very nice. Cloudy golden yellow color with large head. Flavor primarily wheat malt with light sweet banana and bitter clove. Nice body and well blended. Very nice weizen.

Bottle:Hazy, golden, quite firm and stable white head; distinctive sweet-fruity (berries, oranges, bananas) nose with a grainy touch; moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; slight hoppy and sweetish-wheaty finish with a very faint tartness in the aftertaste. Average, but quite decent Weizen......
