Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown color with a little off white head that dissipated at a decent pace. Left some stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet dark fruits blending with some brown sugar, roasty coffee beans and some milk chocolate.
The flavor blended all of those previously mentioned aromas sweetly and letting the roast smoothly move in underneath. Adds some toast in the aftertaste and lets in a semi-delicate sweet to roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done English styled Porter that I would like to have again.

Draft pour pint at The Red Hot. Really thought I’d spend the majority of the day enjoying the different Tacoma breweries, but when my freaking softball team won’t lose, it cuts deep in my beer time. Lucky for me, I can still turn to a classic favorite stop of mine to enjoy the local brew options. A fitting name to this beer. A crusher porter for sure. When done correctly, I believe a porter is the most crushable beer style. Dark brown pour with a slight glow. Patchy beige cream head. Initial robust malt.aroma, with a flavor that leads to a more creamy milk chocolate. Not a super unique porter by any means, but well executed and clearly meet their intentions. Overall, I loved it.a

Deep brown with a creamy, light tan head. Aroma is chocolate, light coffee, toasted biscuit, light caramel, Very inviting. Medium, oily bodied. Flavor comes across more roasted than the aroma lets on. Chocolate, toast, some light coffee, a bit of dark fruits. Has a slightly tangy, earthy finish. A very well thought out and executed porter. Would be happy to have this again and again. (#2500)

On tap at Sound, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malts that dominate. Flavour is bland, with toasted malt and bready notes. Pretty bland and weak, but no off-notes. Okay.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with moderate tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of nuts, dark sugar, and toasted malts. Flavors of bitter acidic nuts, grass, and flat cola. May be an old bottle.

On tap at the GJBF Osaka. Fantastic creamy chocolate notes to this porter. A full bodied smelling beer with a small tan head & a dark clear brown. Wow, the flavor gives you more roastiness and coffee but with a chocolate backbone. A delicious beer for 5.1% with great balance. Frikin’ excellent.

Tap at GJBF 2013. Big chocolate nose, minerals. Rather light body, thin, flavors of chocolate, coffee, nuts. Decent porter. Nose better than mouth.

Dark opaque brown color, medium-sized brownish head. Aroma of caramel and some toasted notes. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, caramel, maltyness. Sweetish porter but I liked it! My first beer from this brewery.
