That's a less pungent hefe, no so smack you in the face, but it's refreshing. like the lemon with it, maybe more than the orange.

On tap at the Anaheim taproom Another light bright yellow golden pour, thin soapy white head mild (Americanized) continental hef yeast notes and a smooth wheaty feel. Light and easy

[On tap at the HI, La Mirada, CA.] A flat looking hazy amber pour with no head; aroma of banana and yeast; sweet and lifeless in the mouth, tasting like a hefeweizen, but lacking the pazzazz of the real thing. Instantly forgetable.

Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Breakway Bar and Grill, John Wayne. Hazy golden orange pour, fades down to a thin fizz head. I dont ever seek out American hefes unless I'm pretending to be a ticker. For some reason, for the first time ever perhaps, I was in the mood for one. Not bad, though pretty standard as far as my bored expectations go for the style. Flavor is cool up front, sweet taste that mongers to a banana. Floral notes that remain light and keeps it an easy drinker. The flavor coats and lasts. I'll probably still be tasting this when I land back in Seattle. Wheat is an appropriate amount, and doesnt provide a complete overkill. Overall I enjoyed this, so I suppose it's a rose in a field of daisies.

Pours hazy amber with a quickly fading head.Nose shows doughy wheat, banana, soft spicy and clove notes.Flavours include more doughy wheat and some of the banana. A little lackluster though.Body feels somewhat watery.

12oz can pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that support a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up wheat, slight banana and maybe apple esters and then faint dry wheat and cracker at the end of the draw. The taste starts subtle and fairly smooth and then quickly picks up the carbonation enhanced banana sweetness and vague spiciness. Toward the finish a thin cracker sort of grainy malt sensation is noticed to help add a bit of balance to the experience. Decent.

Can. Barely hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma of cloves, slightly lemony wheat, a bit of banana and vanilla. Mouthfeel is a bit hard, but it’s pleasantly fruity and spicy with pepper and cloves. Quite dry at the end. Refreshing.

16 oz can purchased a four pack @ Blackwell Liquors in San Fran. I drank this straight from the can which had no sort of date stamp any place. Aroma and flavor is about as identical as you can get. ( smelling right from the can) flavor is orange citrus with the banana yeast and being rounded out by some straw. The esters of banana and straw linger just a tad after the sip. Lighter body with average carbonation and rather easy to drink. Decent for straight out of a can.
