F: huge, light tanned, good retention. C: dark brown, hazy, almost opaque. A: malty, bit chocolate, cocoa, dried fruits, bit herbal, caramel, brown sugar. T: malty, caramel, brown bread crust, brown sugar, bit mellow fruity, cocoa, dry on the palate, bit earthy, not bad, medium body and carbonation, 0,33l bottle from Färm shop Chaussée de Wavre, Brussels.

Bottle sampled at Essen Christmas Beer Festival ’16 as Brune de Noel. Clear golden orange with a small cream head. Aroma of herbs, veggies, rotten compost and garbage. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2014, Essen. Trübes dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, würzig, Kräuter. Geschmack sehr malzig, Gewürze, floral, reife Früchte.

Sampled at Kerstbierfestival Essen 2014. Hazy reddish color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, nicely bitter, hard to describe but quite nice actually. Medium body and carbonation.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kestbierfestival 2014. (Thx!) Light hazy amber. Nose is honey, allspice, random kitchen spices, and faint malt. Taste is allspice, cinnamon, bark, metal, bitter herbs & roots. Body is bit thin. Not perfect but interesting with enjoyable aspects.
