Tap at the Watering Hole. Golden colour, clear, small off-white head, aroma is fruity, Belgian yeasty. Taste is nice and fruity, strawberry, bit tropical, bit of citrus too. Nice. Rerate 4/14 Deep heat, herbal, fruity, but interesting. Herbal saison like element. Unusual and I like it. Lots of deep heat!

Darker amber, slight haze, no head. Has a lot of bubblegum on the nose, light esters. A little bitterness up front, but then chewy sweet malt.

On tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a deep golden color with a nice soapy medium-sized head. Aroma is very saison like nice yeast and spice with a large chunk of tropical and stone fruit as well. Average carbonation with a medium body. Taste is more of the same with the fruit melding with the yeast perfectly. This is like saison on steroids. The finish is bitter and lingers but as it warms up the yeast and fruit notes really put on a show. A nice and complex IPA! On tap at Beer Stand Molto. It poured a clear orange-gold with a white head. A nice citrus aroma wafted from the glass but was easy to drink. Quite bitter with a hint of spice at first. As it warmed up you could see more of the Belgian influence(possibly they used a Belgian yest strain?) which made it zesty, spicy and kind of sour with a bite to it. It had a really nice body and mouthfeel. An interesting beer worth trying out. This is the second nice Shonan Beer I’ve had recently...

Tap at Hopman. Deep gold with a fine, low head. Lemon7 nose, yeasty and spicy, with peach. Great spicy, fruity flavor with sweet honey and something like pineapple and grape and a huge bitter finish. Big and flavorful, a bit harsh bitterness, but nicely put together and balanced. Great.

funky estery, lots of hops, very well made . Moderate bitterness. Basically this beer is fruit and funk that is executed marvelously
