33 cl bottle @ wPBF Ⅲ, BBE 22.02.2015 Thanks omhper!
Aroma has cardboard and some herbal tones. Flavour has cardboard, mint and herbal tones. Finishes with quite nothing – perhaps mellow herbs. Not that pleasant.

A bottle from Liquor Mountain as it was on sale at just 100 yen! The color is an exceptionally pale corn yellow, the smell when I opened it at first reminded me of Grolsch but it quickly dissipated leaving behind a weak pale lager. It is just 3.5 % ABV with a grass/hay like flavor and taste. I couldn’t taste any hops really. It just seems like a mildly alcoholic barley/corn tea like mugicha. It isn’t bad per se but not really so beer like. It might be nice on a hot summer day ice cold when you don’t want something so strong.

Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with good carbonation and a dense, small, white head. The aroma is rather boring, and borderline unpleasant, with corn like maltyness. Luckily some fruityness too. More like canned fruits than fresh fruits. Melon, apples, pear and peach. The flavor is equally boring, but not as corn-like as the aroma, it’s more on the fruityness. The faintest touch of bitterness chimes in, and there’s also a touch of bitterness in the end. Medium to thin on the palate, with pleasant carbonation. Nice mouthfeel actually, but that’s also the best part of the beer. Overall, a decent beer, sort of, but I know quite a few Asian pale lagers I’d rather have. 120604
