Coruja - Session Saison. Easier to drink than to say. Even without a correct pronunciation comes a sophisticated sense of freshness that adorns the slight bitterness and matches with its golden tone. And there is no banana peel here. But there is orange and that, and the ingredients 100% natural, it is noted. That and Dry Hopping, which is not a discipline of jumps but rather the late add of hops, which gives it more aroma.

0.33 l bottle. More like a session IPA than a saison, but not too bad at that.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a pale white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with very little else to notice. Taste is also a bit thin with light cereal notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Short on taste with very little flavours.

F: big, egg-white, average retention. C: gold, clear. A: citrus, spicy, bit passion fruits, pineapple, more like session IPA. T: tangerine, orange, some tropical fruits, not for the style but refreshing, light to medium body and carbonation, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25B - table). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L2604083 (BBF 02/2019). AROMA: medium hop aroma with green mango-like notes, slight flowery and a medium-low neutral and slight sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. medium-low white head with average retention. TASTE: medium-low hop flavor similar to the aroma (green mango). neutral malt background with a slightly sweetness. finishes almost dry and bitter. PALATE: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: interesting hop aroma/flavor but without the typical yeast character that defines a proper Saison. It would be a nice session IPA/APA (even more for the price 0.79 eur).
