Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head. Not much of an aroma, just some hints of summer fruits and kiwi. In the mouth it is mainly sweet but with some underlying bitterness. Floral hops in the aroma, alongside gooseberry, citrus and grapefruit. Becomes quite bitter later on and this dominates the finish. It’s OK, but too citrussy for my taste.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber pour with a loose white head; fresh floral aroma with a trace of malt; smooth in the mouth with some melon and a bready body; then a fresh leafy bitterness and some warmth to finish.

Cask at the Last Post (JDW), Southend on Sea. Lightly hazed gold with a thick white head. Nice fresh citrus and floral hops up front die down a little as you drink more. Mild bitterness and a slight dryness in the finish. Pleasant enough.
