Pours a deep red-brown colour, with small particles floating in it. Small off white head. Aroma's: sweetish, raisins, red fruit. Retronasal it's sweet, fudge, red fruit, light bitterness. Flavour is above moderate sweet, dark malts, light bitter. Warming alcohol, medium to full bodied. Long finish, light roasted, moderate bitter. Pleasant. I was actually told at the brewery when I bought this that it was freeze distilled Lentebock - so Lente IJsbock - but this was much better than the draught version I had of that.

Bottle at a tasting. Slightly sweetish, but otherwise quite thin in terms of character. Slightly boozy alcoholic, otherwise just caramelly sweetish. Could use more richness.

Shared with Koelschtrinker & Beerhunter111. Smooth deep malty body. A bit sticky with smooth malty hints, easy to drink with a malty fruitiness. Not too sweetish, round and not too sticky. Round and smooth, malty with a nice caramelly malty ending. Nice.

Süffiger, stark karamelliger Antrunk. Trocken getreidig-alkoholisch, süffig, strohig. Spritzig, der Alkohol bleibt im Hintergrund. Mittellanger, fein würzig-karamelliger Nachgeschmack. 9/9/10/9/8/9
