Old school US craftmanship started the "Craft Beer Revolution". We salute it! This beer salutes it! Not just a great TV show, not so great movie or a violent GTA game. But also a no bullshit beer, brewed for enjoying on a hot, sunny day. Pretty damn good when it rains too.

Fra fad på Tap1 mai-14: fredagens første øl. Mye god bitterhet med snert av citrus og hylleblomst. En god (og med bare 4,8% en samtidig moderat) start på dag 2. Nokså kort avslutning. Vi må videre i programmet! Fra fat på Cardinal juni-14: kveldens siste i en lang rekke av høyoktans kvalitetsøl, og denne lette apa står seg godt: nydelig citrusfrisk aroma og smak med fint skum. Ret lækker! Opp fra 3.3 til 3.6. Må definitivt prøves igjen.

Purchased at Høkeren in Copenhagen, DK; enjoyed at my hotel room after walking around in the lovely city. Appearance is a cloudy dark gold with a rich white head that lightly laces to the glass. Aroma is a really nice mixture of grassy hops and grapefruit notes, smells fantastic. Taste is pretty fantastic, great grapefruit notes along with tropical fruit, nice light bitter finish, grassy notes as well. This is an exceptional APA found outside the states.

Draught at KØ14. Good hoppy aroma, a bit like NS. Almost clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is also hoppy, a little piney, but not much. Bready finish, quite bitter. Good, but a little mild.

330 ml bottle. Clear deep golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Really nice aroma with citric fruit, marmalade, grapefruit and some caramel malt. Refreshing flavor with mild caramel malt, citric fruit, pine and moderate bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Quite plain and easy drinkable, the aroma is the best part.

Draft at The Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Pours clear amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of floral and fruity hops with a touch of biscuity malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and over moderate bitter with a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Pundarquartis for this bottle! Murky amber. Hoppy aroma, a bit stale, a bit citric citric, with a bit of yeast. Flavor has mild malt sweetness, a yeasty note, citric hops and pleasant bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. A hazy, orange colored beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has citrus peel, pink grapefruit, marmalade and some pale malts. It has a fine and balancing bitterness, but feels a tad too sweet. Marmalade, citrus peel and pine cones in the flavor. Some hops too. Medium body, pleasant carbonation level, and a short, bitter and grassy finish with marmalade and citrus peel. Nothing impressive going on here, but it’s an honest pale ale. 140418
