Tap at the brewpub. Lots of chocolate, ovaltine maltiness, smooth and sweet. Quite malty, touch of fruity sourness.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma has light chocolate. Light-bodied. Light chocolate, light tartness and roastyness. Watery. Meh.

A hazed murky brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with chocolate notes, grassy hops, OK. On tap at brewery.

On tap at Craftworks. I heard this beer will be retired as it is made using real oats and the government is saying you can’t use oats in beer! Which is a shame really as it was my favorite of their beers (with their Dark Ale a close second). It had a lovely chocolate aroma with the taste being bitter burnt coffee & chocolate. It was quite nice with the only negative being it was a little watery for an oatmeal stout.

Draft created by Rob Tilly of "Homebrew Korea" and selected/brewed as Craftworks winter seasonal: Poured a oily black with tan head. Aroma was light chocolate, malts, fruit, and coffee. Taste was a little thin but highly drinkable malt and chocolate, there was a nice coffee bittering near the finish which gave it a nice edge.
