Bukhansan Pale Ale

Tap at the brewpub. Lightly citrus fruity. Bit too smooth somehow, lime, something a little sharp.

Tap at brewpub. Pale clear amber colour, small white head. Tropical fruity nose. Light-bodied. Tropical fruits, pine, odd spiceyness. Meh.

A pale golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, biscuit malt with light butterscotch, and smooth floral hops. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light butterscotch, nice. On tap at brewery.

On tap at Craftworks. It pours a copper color with a thin head. It has a bitter pine aroma & flavor. It is a simple crisp everyday pale ale. Pretty good.

Draft: Poured an amber to pale color with a off white head. Aroma is fresh with grain and nice citrus hops. Taste is soft toffee and nice hops to keep it balanced/smooth. Side note: I originally tried this beer at the pale ale competition and this was a lot stronger on the citrus, a bit hoppier, and had some soapiness to it. It was the winning entry of William (Bill) Miller. I really think this is drinkable, but lost some of its character from the small home brewer batch to mass production.
