Het bier is in beperkte oplage gebrouwen van 400 liter en alleen verkrijgbaar op het Zythos-festival. Amaris is een donkere quadrupel met 10% alcohol en is gelagerd op Jack Daniels-vaten. De naam is een samentrekking van Prearis Quadrupel, de quadrupel van de brouwerij van Andy Dewilde, en St. Amatus, de quadrupel van Struise Brouwers.

Sampled draft @ ZBF 2015. Dark brown, little bubbles. Nose is thick varnish & varnish like wood & alcohol, boozy bourbon, painted oak. Taste is just varnish, huge alcohol, boozy bourbon, varnish cherry, mocha, burning, brown sugar,… Creamy, alocohol burn. One note overly alcoholic varnish. Not a fan & pricy bottles on top. (Thx! for sharing people!)

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is wooden and phenolic. Herbal. Overripe fruity. Dry, wooden and caramelish. Phenolic dry finish. Light acetone dryness.

Clear purple brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: fruity, raisins, vanilla, some green banana, kiwi, guacamole (really), bit metallic, some unripe green melons. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, fruity, caramel, some whisky, alcohol, vanilla, little funky. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, hoppy touch, caramel, fruity, green apples, vanilla, bit sugary, some overripe fruit, kiwi.

Pours chocolaty brown. Small xreamy white head. Smell is dark malts, sweet, chocolaty, bourbon tones almost. Taste is bit sweet, woody, bourbon. Balanced, good mouthfeel. Very nice
