Very light haze on this gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine minerally carbonation. Very light malts, mildly sweet. Light pine. Modest citric pith. Mosaic blueberry in to mild tropical fruits. Touch of spicy tangerine. Light finish brings orange peel and mild hop spice. It’s a nice one, but somehow doesn’t sing as sweetly as Kernel Pale Ale normally do.

Bottle from Wholefoods. It pours clear orange - amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, grassy, dank, peach, nectarine, orange marmalade, grapefruit, resin and fruit punch. The taste is dry, crisp, firm bitterness, plenty of grapefruit, orange peel, pithy, nectarine, resin, pine, green, grassy, pissy and some peppery spice with a lingering dry - zesty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. The aroma on this one really stands out.

Bottle at home in London - many thanks to The Kernel crew. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely aroma, a little dank and pissy, with notes of lemon peel and grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with crisp, balanced pale malt character, more grapefruit, cat pee, melon, peach, lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Well balanced on the finish, with light piney and rindy bitterness, understated pale malt sweetness, more juicy citrus fruits, lemon peel, grapefruit, light alcohol, pith, pee, melon. Outstanding. World-class.
