Our Porter is a pitch black beer with 8% alcohol, brewed with loads of dark malts and fruity hops, resulting in a delicious mouthful of chocolate, black berries, roasted grains and a hint of coffee. The finish is long and dry with a taste of pure chocolate. Good times.

(Draught at ’t IJ, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2014) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, cocoa, liquorice, Danish black rye bread and a fairly dry finish with a generous cocoa bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Very tasty and exceptionally well balanced. Quite brilliant.

On tap @’t IJ with Borresteijn. Very dark color, but not quite opaque. Rocky beige head, short retention. Aroma’s of heavy roast, coffee, laurel/bay leaves, drop, with just hints of red fruit & yeast. Flavor is light sweet, roasted, moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with lots of roast and full on bitter. Nice!
