Home grown malts with the triple hop mix of Styrian, Goldings and Cascade, create an amber beer that is both fruity and light but still has a subtle dry finish. A beer for relaxing, sunshine and those long days of summer. Enjoy with Spice and all things nice!

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pours golden with a frothy white head. Very clear beer. Aroma is a bit like a shandy, bit of lemon citrus with a light maltiness. Quite pleasant smell. Very summery. Taste is a little bit sweet but not overpoweringly so. Quite light and refreshing. Quite pleasant in the mouth, not as thin as it looks. Little bit of carbonation and a slight bitter finish. Very refreshing. First one of the Sainsburys beer challenge I have tried and I have to say, I am surprised how much I like it. Nothing ground breaking, just a good nice beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Golden Summer on 08 Sep 2019 at 15:51 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
