Bottle. Golden fuzzy beer. Aroma is grainy and grassy. Taste has a saison-like yeasty dryness, with a green fresh taste of cucumber. Very drinkable and quite creative.

Clear pale golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, light herbal, hint of straw. Sweet malty flavour, crisp hints of cucumber. Sweet malty finish, light straw. Interesting pilsener.

Draught @ [ Borefts After Festival 2014 ] @ Kaapse Brouwers, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Oedipus Volkspils ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cucumber. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, cucumber, pale malt, grass, vegetabel notes. Quict refreshining. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140928]

33cl Bottle from Sterk Avondverkoop. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of light-bready malts, cucumber, hint of citrus, yeast, hay, light grassy. Flavour is light to medium sweet, malty, cucumber, light spicy, almost peppery note, light yeasty, nice bitter finish. Light-bodied. Went really well with the spicy food I ate, but it’s a good beer on its own.

[9/28/14] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2014 in Rotterdam. Pale yellow. Aroma of graininess and a bit of cucumber. Flavor of cucumber, graininess and a dry finish. Light-bodied. I hate cucumber and I hate this.

On tap @ In De Wildeman. Pale blonde color, slightly hazy. White head, short retention. Aroma’s of grain/malt, some fruit, light perfume. Cucumber noticeable retronasal, but if I didn’t know it I probably wouldn’t have guessed it was cucumber. Flavor is light grainy/ malty sweet with a light bitterness. Light bodied. Finishes with a nice light bitterness. Clean and refreshing.

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Thank you! Clear, light yellow, creamy white peel. Nose is heavy bitter cucumber peel; Taste is cucumber peel more than the inside, light hop, lightly bitter, light malt. Clean & very easy to drink. There is no way that I could drink a lot of this but I am liking it :)

At BBF14 ( shared bottle ) and on BAF Pours light yellow , small white head . smell is bit herbal , not straight cucumber . Taste is a bit bitter , some cucumber , bit balanced . Light ( as always for a lager ) mouthfeel . Nice, interesting lager

Tap at the Borefts After Festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear light straw with a thin whispy white head. The aroma is watery cucumber. The flavour is light bitter with a light cucumber palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. This is in fact alcoholic cucumber juice :-)
