Bottle, 11.4%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, wood, oak, little coffee with notes of bourbon. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, wood, oak, little bourbon, little vanilla, medium sweet, hop, little liquorice and medium bitter.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours dark with large tan head. Aroma is lovely sweet bourbon & chocolate. Taste is smooth, with milk chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, sugared almonds, dark malts.. very well-integrated bourbon. Spent a good hour sipping this. Lovely.

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours a dark brown black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty strong woody bourbon chocolate aroma. Roasted malty woody bourbon vanilla chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty woody bourbon vanilla and chocolate finish.

Bottle from Best of Beers. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily and smooth. 050316

0,33 bottle over 2 years old, purchased at the Hoppy Imp. in Greece. Pours black color with brownish highlights, no foam. Nose: bourbon, sweet vanilla, sharp and pleasant note of spirit, berries, red fruit. Very nice! Mouth: absolutely fantastic! I am pretty much surprised my friends did not go wow and I assume this beer has aged incredibly well. Some signs of oxidation, silky whiskey, some mocha, flat carbo a bit of sweet vanilla with a slightly bitter and peppery finish. A really great Imperial Stout. I am glad I purchased 2 bottles! Terrific!

Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of dark and dried fruits, caramel, cocoa, some tobacco, some coffee, some bourbon.
Tastes of bourbon, chocolate, tobacco, liquorice, coffee, cocoa powder, dark fruits, vanilla.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, quite dry, wooden, alcohol warming, with tobacco, liquorice, coffee, some cocoa, some bourbon.
Very nice. The nose is a bit flat in my opinion, but the taste is really lovely, with a great balance between sweet, roasty and dry notes and the bourbon very well integrated. Not among my favourite Imperial Stouts by De Molen, but an enjoyable, smooth to drink sipper nonetheless.
