500 ml bottle, bough Dec 2013 at the brewery.
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, beige head.
Aroma is a bit flat, with chocolate, dark fruits, some smoke, slight coffee.
Taste is quite smokey and dry, with coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, dark fruits.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, quite dry, a bit smokey, with dark chocolate and some coffee.

Nice one. Apart from the nose a quite satisfying Doppelbock, that also has Stout like notes. Fortunately not sweet at all, like many other beers of this style and instead with some smoke and coffee notes. Hopefully this will be brewed again.

Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, Karamell, Kaffee. Geschmack ebenfalls sehr röstmalzig, Kaffee, süß, leicht alkoholisch.

500ml bottle. Cloudy dark chestnut brown colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Ephemeral grassy hoppy aroma, dark malty undertones with a nuttily touch, hints of of coffee, some husk. Taste is dark malty with intense grassy, tannic hoppy overtones; slightly sticky palate. Very "crafty", slightly unbalanced, inharmonic, not really tasty.
