Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L041-017 (BBF 12/2018). AROMA: medium-low oxidized hops (cheesy), low fruitiness and slight green. APPERANCE: intense gold and clear. medium-high ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low oxidized hops (dried grass), slight pine. low background of slight caramelized malt. low fruitiness (lichiee-like). medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an english ipa already showing signs of oxidation but that should be good fresher. demands retasting.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is soft, airy and slightly dry. Fine csrbonation. Sweetish malt. Touch of spice. Little dried fruits and peel. Light semi dry finish. It’s fine.

Bottle via trade, shared at Bruce’s. It pours clear golden with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is earthy, spice, barnyard and toasted grass. The taste is earth, toast, crisp, alcoholic bite, soda water, hay, straw and toasted grass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch water perhaps, but inoffensive. OK.

Bottle, nay PT Moby Fucking Dick, layed on by Paulo at Bruce’s pad, 09/12/13. Hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is caramel, peach, orchard fruit, orange peel. Taste comprises orange sherbet, caramel, light mineral notes, straw. Medium bodied, modeeate carbonation, grass laden bitterness in the finale. Ok - basic IPA, drinkable but little depth, rates a rate yeah - I’ve had a lot worse!

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks to Paul. Pours clear gold with a frothy white cap. Bready malts on the nose with suggestions of cereal and orange. Medium sweet flavor with dry pine, orange meringue, cereal, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry pine bitterness to finish, some grains and cereal. So so.
