CBC. Opaque dark brown beer, little tan head. Rich dark malt. A little coffee bitterness. Mellow smoke. Finishes semi dry with roasty bitterness. Not bad.

Draft. Milk chocolate, ash and bourbon aroma. Black with minimal head. Sweet creamy chocolate, rye malt, and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Mild bourbon finish. Smooth as silk. Delicious.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and dense chocolate. Thick malty, chocolate and roasted. Bitter and dark roasted malty. Lingering chocolate finish. Light tarish.

Sample @ CBC. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are nuts, wood, roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops.

Tap @ CBC. Black with big brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and medium bitter.

On tap at CBC, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of rich roasted malt and a little dark chocolate. Flavour of rich roasted malt, dry chocolate malt, and cocoa powder. Very rich and round, with a chocolatey body. Great impie stout.

CBC. Black with a lasting dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and dusty. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. Tap at CBC 2013. Pours dark brown with a ring beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sewer and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ CBC 2013. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts, liquor, some coffee, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Quite like it.
