The original ’Classic’ was introduced on the occasion of Tuborg’s 120th birthday. Together, the complex combination of several different types of malt results in a playful mixture of an easy-to-drink beer with lots of great taste. The beer is dark in color and has a little bit of sweetness in the taste.

Pours clear dark yellow, fizzing, with a thin, diminishing head. The aroma contains grain, hay, biscuit and malt. It tastes medium malty sweet and light hay-like bitter. Short, slightly metallic and dry finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Refreshing but boring. (Edited 25/7/17)

tap@The Globe, CPH - light amber pour with medium white head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty, light caramel, light grassy, straw, very watery. Basic stuff.

On tap. Pours a clear copper color with no head. Aromas of biscuit and hay. Flavours of corn, biscuit, and light toffee. Light bitter finish. Nothing memorable but easy to quaff with dinner.

Sampled at a small Chinese food bar in Copenhagen. Clear light amber color, small white head that disappears instantly. Smell and taste malts, caramel and a little sweet-bitter.. Very average. Not a lot to tell. Low to average body and carbonation. It was fine to chug the Chinese food down though.

On tap beside a Copenhagen canal. Light amber color, low head. Malty nose, light caramel, grass. Grassy hop flavor with caramel, a bit of candy marshmellow. Reasonably balanced but boring.

Fra fad og boks gentatte gange: som følge til smørrebrød er den ikke dum, men en stor øl er den på ingen måde. Mye malt og lite humle.
