ABK Belli Bock, Fläschchen von REWE, Butzbach. - Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase flache, leicht plastikartig zitronige Hopfung über dichtem, schwerem hellen Malz von matter Süße. - Antrunk breit getreidig hellmalzig mit Kandis, ein wenig Süßsauer und kräftiger, gleichwohl matter Herbe, künstlich zitronig und leicht grasig-scharf. Mild rezent, breit. Im Abgang plumpe grasige Herbe. Langer, stumpf bitterer Nactrunk. - Fett malzschwerer, plump gehopfter Industriebock, wahrlich kein Genuß. Weder süß noch wuchtig, sondern herb und rein verspricht das Etikett. Leider bleibt es bei den schönen Worten. (18.5.2021.)

Flascherl (333ml): Golden, small head, visible carbonation, clear, moderate to robust grainy-grassy nose; quite solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering and even drier herbal-grassy and slightly alcoholic finish. No glory! More an Imperial Pils than a well balanced Bock...

Gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of herbs and honey. Taste is mildly bitter with some mild honey sweetness at the end. Medium bodied, trending watery at the finish. Drinkable.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally grainy, strawy, starchy malty and floral aroma, hints of honey, a farina touch. Taste is minimally sweet, starchy pale malty, minimally strawy, a touch of honey, minimally dry, papery finish, a warming alcoholic touch as well. Relatively light, balanced, not too sweet, but I don't see the need for more alcohol than a regular Helles without any profit in flavours - neither concerning intensity nor width.

Bottle. Clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma of grains, grass, malts, a little bit of honey and a healthy dose of noble hops. Taste follows aroma with a dry finish. Herbal and floral. Bitterness outweighs the sweetness and keeps lingering on. I like that. Medium carbonation. Very balanced and nice Bock.

Heller Bock mit 16,2 % Stammwürze und 6,9 % Alk. Für einen Bock geschmacklich eher leicht. Nur der hohe Alkoholgehalt sticht im Mund heraus. In der zweiten Reihe fallen florale, hopfige, fruchtige, bittere und süße Noten auf. Frage mich woher der Name kommt. Vielleicht, weil man am nächsten Tag nen ganz schönen Belli hat (was in Bayern Kopf oder Schädel bedeutet). Puh, ich leg die Aspirin lieber schon bereit...
