Many thanks to jsquire for this can! The beer starts round and smooth. Very dry chocolaty roasted, not too much depth and easy to drink. The aftertaste is not too intense, very refreshing with a roasted malt aroma together with a nice and not too intense bitterness. Round and refreshing with a dry caramel aftertaste. Nice though.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a very dark brown color - almost black- with red highlights and a large foamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was roasty with moderate fruity hops an some cherry. The flavor was toasty and mildly bitter with malted milk, molasses and cherry elements. Medium length finish. Medium body and creamy. Decent.

Can. Deep brown body with a beige head, diminishing. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, roasted malts, earthiness, light caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of chocolate and roast. Fuller mouthfeel than lots of porters. Solid.

Dark body with a beige, fizzy head. Very thin body. Aroma has caramel, roast malt, a bit of milk. Flavor is roast malt, caramel, a bit of brown sugar, lactose. The thin body really detracts from the potentially enjoyable flavor. Ok porter.
