Bottle. OK piney hop aroma. Hazy brown colour. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour is roasted. Has some roasted malt to begin with, then comes a rather rough bitterness. Astringent, and a little unpleasant, but clean. Some soy in the finish.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper rich amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, butter and caramel, with touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with touches of caramel malt. Roasty and buttery finish. I had expected something worse. Not a perfect Amber Ale but drinkable.
