Bottle, thanks Fin! Chestnut, golden brown head. Berry aromatics, dough, light metallic roast, chocolate. Medium full body, chewy, spritzy. Kirschtorten base, juicy malt, berries, honey, pleasant roast, finishing on flowery hop aromatics, very nice!

Bottle picked up from a random Getrankemarkt in Straubing and consumed on the train to München Wednesday 12th March 2025 listening to ByteFM. I cannot be certain on the colour as I am drinking straight from the bottle. Very soft mouthfeel, light caramel runs through, some sweetness touch of nuttiness and there is a slight floral edge coming from somewhere. It's very nice, better than the Bock I had a couple or so days ago.

500 ml bottle. It’s a murky dark brown beer with a stable foamy head. Very roasty, malty, toffee, lemon, roasted breadcrumbs, rye, overripe stone fruit, slightly metallic, green apple. Dry hoppy citrusy bitterness, roasty malty sweetness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty roasty malty bittersweet finish. A great Dunkles!

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet cara- and toast-malty aroma with bready and nutty notes, accompanied by a touch of toffee and a whiff of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Solid malty, delicately toasted taste with nutty notes and toffee; medium-dry, slightly toasted finish with a light hoppy blend. Decent Dunkel. 05.X.09

bottle, Danke pivnizub! Clear chestnut-brown colour with a large off-white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty with hints of honey, caramel and toffee, perhaps some walnut and dried fruit. Shy hoppy flavours blend in towards the end, resulting in a lingering bitter-sweet finish with a touch of plums. A delicious Dunkel!

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured with a medium-sized - very quickly collapsing - off-white head; moderate to solid dark-malty nose, delicate traces of toasted malt and a subtle nutty fruitiness included; solid sweet flavour - not cloying - with a light bitter touch, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish, aromas of dried fruits and roasted malt detectable. Even though a bit on the sweet side, this is a very well crafted Dunkel.............
