A rich, dark luxurious Imperial Stout brewed with Fairtrade cacao husks and Madagascan vanilla pods, it’s like an adventure for you taste buds…. Straight off the bat, waves of chocolate, lactose, caramel and dried fruit will assault your senses. Next up is a touch of smoke and liquorice blended with coconut and coffee. The mouthfeel is full and creamy balanced fantastically with a berry like acidity that keeps this beer juicy and super drinkable. Suitable for ageing but try to drink me before the end of the world...

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, some roast and cocoa, soft vanilla. Medium sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium. Easy.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Aroma of milk chocolate and custard. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dominated by artificial milk chocolate powder and vanilla. Mild bitterness.

ABV: 8.0%. Clear dark dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Can (from Alko web). Pitch black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is roasted, some chocolate, mild vanilla with some blackcurrant to it as well. Flavour is dried fruits, blackcurrant, some chocolate, mild roasted tones with mild toffee. Easy going.

33 cl can (8%) @ home, BBE 12/2024 Aroma has licorice and hay. Flavour has salty licorice, herbs. Dry and ashy finish. No clear evidence of chili, vanilla or chocolate. Pleasant anyway.

440ml can at home. Pours a thick oily black with a thin brown head. Chocolate and vanilla on the nose. Flavour is mostly milk chocolate, vanilla, slight bit of roasted almonds. Soft carbonation

From the bottle. Dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate. Taste is sweet to bittersweet. Body is medium to heavy, a bit sticky, dry and boozy at the end. A good one
