7 3 7 3 14 33 cl bottle at home, bought at the brewery (no Two Chefs on the label anymore). Almost black color. Dense beige head with pretty good retention. Aroma’s: roasted, red fruit, light sweet. Retronasal it’s sweet, sweet drop, a bit fruity. Flavor is light sweet, droppig, light roasted bitter. Under medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, roasted, moderate bitter. OK, would have made a good porter....

On tap at Bondgenoot Craft Beer Festival. Very dark ruby pour with a thin tan head. Metal, generic hop bitterness, corn, roasted malts. Quite thin bodied for its style, with a roasty-bitter aftertaste.

Very good dark-cream head, irregular, over opaque cola-coloured beer. Chocolate malt, hint at mocha, dry husks, black cardamome, bit ashy. Demure. Sweetish, dark malts. Hint of chocolate. Not much going on. Light to medium bodied, quite slick and outspoken creamy texture. Needs a lot more hopbite, too abashed.

Bottle split during Craft 100 - London. Pours clear, rich brown with a tight, creamy topping. The nose holds toasty malts, light pine, faint roast. Light to medium sweet flavour with some creamy chocolate, mellow earthy bitterness, roast, rindy orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Good balance on the finish, with light resin, cocoa. Good one.

Almost clear deep amber - brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Thin and tangy dark malts. Touch of dark fruits. Spicy piney hops on top. Decent without ever being exciting.
