Jet Black Heart is a 4.7% milk stout, loaded with oatmeal for an extra lush mouth-feel and nitro dispensed on draft; expect decadent cacao, subtle roastiness, and autumnal fruitiness with a dark seductive edge. Inspired by some of the awesome craft nitro stouts we tried in the US we wanted to put our own spin on the style and also introduce nitro beers to BrewDog bars

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 26.11.18. Almost black. Diminishing beige head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate sauce. cocoa and Crème brûlée. Similar taste. Sweet. Perhaps a bit waterish mothfeel.

33cl bottle @ Niamey Carft Beer tasting - farewell party to Balasz. Merci Balasz.

Draft @ Brew Dog, Shoreditch. Opaque black with a big beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, espresso and dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma plus mousse au chocolat without being sweet. Bitter roastiness. Low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Very balanced. Delicious but easy drinking. I wish I had the chance to have this on tap regularly.

Can with widget inside. Pour is fabulous stout, nice. First impression is creamy smooth civilized stout with just a tad of bitterness. Decadent without lots of chocolate or malt. Well balanced. Creamy smooth roasted finish. Even tho its like a nitro, I still get a little bit of smooth barely perceivable fine co2 in there. Much better impression compared to many widget thing canned beers.

330 can at home. Pours just as it says on the tin, pitch black, nice creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and vanilla, a bit of coffee bean and some hazelnut. Taste is creamy and velvet smooth, nice milk chocolate and vanilla flavour.

From a 330ml can on 13/9/2018. Pours a dark brown with pretty much no head. Has a mild chocolate nose. The flavour features light chocolate, with hints of coffee and roasted malt. Finishes with a mild bitterness. Light to medium bodied with close to no carbonation It seems like nitro translates to flat. Might be okay with some bubbles, but just okay.
